Young Social Pioneers 2010

The Foundation For Young Australians Young Social Pioneers Program invests in the power and promise of Australia's young people.

Young Social Pioneers are purposeful , passionate individuals who shift their ideas into clear action for sustainable outcomes. 

The YSP Program is based on the International Youth Foundation's global initiative Youth Action Net 

Youth Action Net Institutes select young people to participate in intensive learning programs.The country institutes are deeply rooted in the context where they operate  Each country institute's goal is to develop the already existing skills and capacities of young people who are not just talking ideas but implementing ideas . These ideas will influence and strengthen the youth sectors within the countries they come from.  Country institutes already operating are : Mexico , Brazil , Jordan , Israel , Spain and Australia with addtional institutes planned in the next 12 months 

The YSP Program enables young people to harness their pioneering spirit by creating collaborative learning environments that maximise their valuable contributions to their communities.
